Approuvé par le Sénat paraguayen en juillet dernier, la loi visant à reconnaître le minage de cryptomonnaies comme une activité industrielle a été finalement refusée par Mario Abdo Benítez, le président du pays sud-américain. Selon lui, la forte consommation d'électricité du minage pourrait ralentir l'expansion d'une industrie nationale durable.
