La Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec (CDPQ), investisseur institutionnel gérant notamment la retraite et l'épargne de ses clients, a annoncé une perte de près de 200 millions de dollars sur les cryptomonnaies à cause de la faillite de Celsius. L’institution estime que son arrivée dans ce secteur a été « trop prématurée ».
